Job summary

NovaSource Power Services is seeking a maintenance-focused technician to support utility-scale PV plants. You’ll monitor operations via SCADA, assist with commissioning, testing, and repairing AC/DC solar systems, and work under safety guidelines.

The role requires a high school diploma, electrical awareness, and a willingness to obtain NovaSource Qualification standards within 90 days. Travel may be required, and benefits include health coverage and a quarterly bonus.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical safety and arc flash standards.
• Ability to follow operating, switching, maintenance, safety and environmental procedures.
• Safety background with Lockout Tag Out and Job Hazard Analysis.
• Knowledge of local and national electrical codes.
• Understanding of electrical schematics and prints.
• English communication skills; able to report clearly.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform to quarterly KPIs: energy generation, maintenance, and efficiency.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following company protocols.
• Ensure personal safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
• Learn and comply with Job Hazard Analysis and Lock-Out-Tag-Out.
• With supervision, perform PM work and maintenance procedures on site components.
• Communicate professionally with stakeholders and complete CMMS work orders.
• Prepare procurement documents and vendor service requests.
• Attend trainings in safety and environment; maintain 5S cleanliness.
