NovaSource Power Services is hiring a Utility Solar Technician II for Moapa Valley, NV. This on-site role supports maintenance and operation of a utility-scale PV power plant, focusing on SCADA monitoring, testing, and routine repairs in a safety-focused environment.

The position requires a HS diploma or equivalent, 2+ years in a related role or journeyman cert, and strong knowledge of electrical systems and SCADA. Travel to sites may be required, with competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required; college/technical degree preferred.
• 2+ years in related position or journey level certification.
• Experience with PV plant electrical systems and SCADA.

Responsibilities

• Monitor PV plant operation via SCADA and perform maintenance.
• Commission, test, inspect, troubleshoot, repair electrical components.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on AC/DC solar PV systems.
• Ensure safety procedures and regulatory compliance.
