Job summary

NovaSource Power Services is seeking a Utility Solar Technician II in Pueblo, CO to support the maintenance and operation of utility-scale PV plants. The role involves monitoring through SCADA, commissioning, testing, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing AC/DC systems, with emphasis on safety and reliability.

Candidates should have 2+ years of related experience or a journey-level certification, including familiarity with electrical codes and CMMS systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a related position or Journey level certification.
• Experience operating and maintaining power plant electrical systems, SCADA and controls systems operation, troubleshooting advanced electrical components, and using procedures to perform equipment preventative and corrective maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor PV plant operation through SCADA, commissioning, testing, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying AC/DC systems.
• Assist in planning and executing on-site projects, installations, commissioning, quality inspections, and performance testing.
• Promote safety and ensure compliance with Job Hazard Analysis and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
