Job summary

NovaSource Power Services is seeking a Utility Solar Technician II in Moapa Valley, NV. You will support maintenance and operation of utility-scale PV plants, monitor systems via SCADA, and perform testing, inspection, and repair of electrical components.

2+ years in a related role or Journeyman certification is preferred. High school diploma required; college/technical degree is a plus. Travel and strong safety focus are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• College or technical degree preferred.
• Equivalent training in military, utility, or power industry is a plus.
• 2+ years of related experience or Journey level certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitor PV plant operation through SCADA and perform tests and inspections.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and modify AC/DC solar PV systems including inverters and transformers.
• Follow safety and environmental procedures; adhere to Lockout/Tagout and Job Hazard Analysis.
