Job summary

NovaSource Power Services seeks a Full Time Technical Operator in Elgin, TX to monitor and maintain utility-scale PV plants. Responsibilities include SCADA oversight, commissioning, testing, and repairing PV systems, with focus on safety and reliability.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of related experience, a high school diploma, and may hold additional technical education. Lifting 70 pounds and working in varied climates are required, with potential travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of related experience.
• College or technical degree preferred.
• Equivalent training in military, utility, or power industry a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds and work in varied temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor PV Plant operation through SCADA.
• Commissioning, testing, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying AC and DC solar PV systems.
• Work with inverters, PV module arrays, transformers, switchgear, and metering systems.
• Perform to quarterly KPIs and maintain safety and environmental procedures.
