Job summary

NovaSource Power Services seeks a skilled maintenance technician for utility-scale PV plants in Texas. You will monitor and maintain PV systems, SCADA, and electrical components to keep energy generation efficient.

This role requires safety-minded individuals with strong troubleshooting skills, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work independently on site.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a related position or Journeyman certification.
• Experience with electrical systems, SCADA and controls operation, troubleshooting.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and prints.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.

Responsibilities

• Perform quarterly KPI monitoring for energy generation and maintenance.
• Promote a safe work environment and adherence to protocols.
• Responsible for personal safety, quality and schedule adherence.
• Manage PM work including measuring, testing and maintenance on site components.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in planning and executing on-site projects, installations and testing.
• Ensure documentation and required reports are completed and filed.
• Maintain 5S standards in work area and site housecleaning.
