Sungrow North America is seeking a Field Service Technician - PV in Jacksonville, FL. You will support commissioning, warranty, and O&M for PV inverters and BESS systems at customer sites and staging yards, with up to 80% travel.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and commission equipment, and ensure safety per the ZERO HARM standard. An Associate’s degree in engineering or computer science is required, with 3+ years in a technical field and 2+ years in solar inverters or BESS preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Associate’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science required.
• 3+ years in a technical field; 2+ years in solar inverters or BESS preferred.
• OSHA 10 and NFPA 70e certificates within 12 months of hire.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and travel as required.

Aufgaben

• Install, operate, test, and maintain PV inverters, BESS, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose systems per maintenance guidelines.
• Pre-commissioning and commissioning of solar inverters with grid emulator.
• Perform preventive maintenance and LTSA activities for O&M.
• Lead field upgrades and coordinate with customers.
• Coordinate with SCADA engineers for system communication.
• Prepare Daily Activity and JSA reports.
• Ensure safety policies and PPE compliance.
