Job summary

Sungrow North America is seeking a Field Service Technician - BESS in Riverside, CA. This contractor role supports commissioning, warranty, and O&M for PV inverter and BESS systems, reporting to the regional field service supervisor.

Travel is 80%+ to customer sites and staging facilities; safety and documentation are emphasized throughout tasks. Responsibilities include installation, testing, troubleshooting, pre-commissioning/commissioning, preventive maintenance, and field reports.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in an Engineering or Computer Science Discipline from an accredited university or college.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, test, and maintain solar inverter and BESS systems on site or at staging yards.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment per maintenance guidelines; support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
• Lead field service tasks, coordinate with engineering and project teams, and ensure safety procedures are followed.
