Job summary

Sungrow is seeking a qualified Field Service Technician to support commissioning, warranty, and O&M for PV inverter and BESS systems across the Denver area. The role requires hands-on fault diagnosis, repair, and proactive maintenance at customer sites or staging yards.

Expect 80% travel, a safety-first culture, and collaboration with engineering, logistics, and project teams to resolve technical issues and keep solar plants operating safely and efficiently in the region.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in engineering or computer science from accredited college.
• 2+ years of experience in solar inverters or BESS.
• OSHA 10 and NFPA 70e certifications within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, test and maintain string/central inverters, BESS, PCS and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues per Sungrow maintenance guidelines.
• Pre-commissioning and commissioning of solar inverters and BESS systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance under LTSA contracts and safety procedures.
• Lead field projects and coordinate with customers and internal teams.
• Prepare daily activity and JSA reports with contractors on site.
