Job summary

Sungrow USA Corporation in Fresno, CA is seeking a Field Service Technician focused on BESS and PV inverters. You will install, troubleshoot, maintain, and commission systems at customer sites, with significant field time across the region and a strong emphasis on safety and documentation.

Travel is heavy (80% plus) and you will coordinate with engineering and operations teams, lead on-site tasks, and ensure compliance with safety policies while delivering reliable energy storage and PV

Qualifications

Associate’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science required or equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience in solar inverters or BESS preferred.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 80%.

Responsibilities

Install, operate, test, and maintain string and central solar inverters and BESS systems.
Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment per maintenance guidelines.
Perform pre-commissioning and commissioning of solar inverters and BESS systems.
Lead safety procedures and submit daily activity and JSA reports.
Coordinate with engineering, logistics, and program management to support field operations.
