Job summary

Sungrow North America in Phoenix seeks a Field Service Engineer to support commissioning, warranty, and O&M of PV inverters and BESS systems across the region. The role involves troubleshooting, repair, and on-site commissioning, with a strong emphasis on safety and timely service.

As part of the field team, you will work with engineering, logistics, and customers, lead on-site safety, and prepare daily activity and JSA reports.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a technical field
• 2 years of experience in solar inverters or BESS
• OSHA 10 and NFPA 70e certificates or equivalent
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, test, and maintain solar inverter and BESS systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues per maintenance guidelines.
• Lead pre-commissioning and commissioning activities on sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance and LTSA activities on O&M sites.
• Coordinate with engineering, logistics, and project teams to ensure safety and documentation.
