Job summary

Aurora Energy Services is seeking a Field Service Representative to support utility-scale and commercial solar sites nationwide, focusing on Sungrow inverters and PCS/BESS equipment.

You will commission, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair systems, perform HV switching when required, and ensure safety standards (NFPA 70E, OSHA) are followed. Travel to job sites is required, with training and mentoring for junior technicians. Competitive pay DOE and full benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years field experience with PV inverters or related electrical equipment.
• Sungrow certification preferred; hands-on Sungrow field experience accepted in lieu of certification.
• Strong knowledge of DC and AC systems; electrical safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Perform commissioning of Sungrow inverters and PCS/BESS equipment for utility-scale and commercial sites.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance including firmware upgrades and diagnostics.
• Troubleshoot inverter and BESS faults using diagnostic tools and test equipment.
• Travel to job sites nationwide and maintain accurate service reports.
• Follow NFPA 70E, OSHA and electrical safety standards at all times.
