Job summary

Sungrow is seeking a field service technician for i nstallation, commissioning, and maintenance of PV inverters, energy storage systems, and associated equipment in the Pecos, Texas area. The role involves significant travel to customer sites and staging yards, with emphasis on safety and efficient operation.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and commission systems, adhering to Sungrow safety standards and project schedules while supporting field engineering and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Technical problem-solving abilities with a proactive, results-driven mindset.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Experience in renewable energy or solar inverter/BESS field ops is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, test, and maintain solar inverters, BESS, PCS, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues per Sungrow maintenance guidelines.
• Lead pre-commissioning and commissioning activities and coordinate with customers.
• Prepare field documentation and daily activity/JSA reports.
