Job summary

Sungrow North America is seeking a Field Service Technician - BESS to support commissioning, warranty, and O&M of solar inverter and BESS systems across the Fresno region. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment at customer sites or staging yards, while adhering to ZERO HARM safety policies.

The role requires travel 80%+, a strong technical background, and the ability to lead on-site safety and field documentation.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in an Engineering or Computer Science Discipline from an accredited university or college.
• Renewable industry experience is desired.
• OSHA 10 and NFPA 70e certificates within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, test, and maintain PV inverters, BESS, PCS, batteries, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues per maintenance guidelines.
• Perform pre-commissioning and commissioning activities per plan and schedule.
