Job summary

Sungrow North America is seeking a Field Service Technician - PV to support commissioning, warranty, and O&M for solar sites across the region. You will troubleshoot, repair, and commission PV inverters and BESS systems at customer sites or staging yards, following safety policies and procedures.

Reporting to the field service supervisor, this contractor role requires 80% travel, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication with customers and teams.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science is required.
• Experience with PV inverters and BESS systems is preferred.
• OSHA 10 and NFPA 70e certifications within 12 months of hire are expected.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, troubleshoot, and maintain PV inverters and related equipment at customer sites.
• Lead safety procedures and ensure compliance with Sungrow standards on field assignments.
• Coordinate with engineering and field teams to resolve complex technical issues and complete daily reports.
