Job summary

The AES Corporation in Dateland, AZ, seeks a PV O&M technician to support solar and energy storage operations, perform routine and corrective maintenance, and ensure safety compliance. Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
2-year technical degree or Journeyman qualification preferred.
3 years PV O&M technician experience or 5+ years in a power plant.
PV or BESS installation experience.
Knowledge of electrical fundamentals and safety practices, including LOTO.
English literacy; Spanish/Portuguese a plus.
Ability to travel up to 3 hours daily and overnight up to 10%.

Responsibilities

Oversee O&M activities for Solar and Energy Storage projects.
Perform/assist with maintenance and operations on inverters, transformers, battery modules, and related equipment.
Electrical troubleshooting, calibration, and basic inverter repair.
Follow LOTO and safety procedures; issue permits as needed.
Operate plant electrical and mechanical systems; contribute to documentation.
Travel to facilities as required; some training and travel may be needed.
