Job summary
World Wide Technology (WWT) is seeking a Software Engineering Supervisor to lead a software delivery team and ensure successful product delivery. You will coach, mentor, and manage direct reports while aligning work with business goals.
You will collaborate with Solution Engineers, Project Engineering Supervisors, Prod Ops, IT, and Quality teams to deliver innovative technology solutions and drive continuous improvement across projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or engineering preferred.
- 5+ years progressive experience in a related field.
- Experience managing project initiatives across multiple IT and business organizations
- Experience with various development methodologies/technologies
Responsibilities
- Grows and develops team members, conducts regular 1-on-1s and provides coaching.
- Manages talent for direct reports, including compensation, performance, and promotions.
- Escalates and removes impediments to maximize team effectiveness.
- Drives development of innovative technology solutions aligned to strategy.
- Leads design of complex solutions within the product domain.
- Hires top candidates and fosters team diversity and collaboration.
