Job summary

World Wide Technology (WWT) seeks an IT Developer to design, develop, and integrate custom WWT applications and third-party vendor systems. You will contribute to design, development, and deployment of software solutions, co-lead development efforts, mentor juniors, and participate in strategic planning and execution.

The role involves cross-functional collaboration, driving high-quality software products, and occasional travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' progressive experience in a related field.
• Bachelor's Degree is BS Computer Science, Computer Programming, or Engineering preferred.
• Testing: Test first mindset with experience in test automation, unit, functional, end-to-end, and regression testing.
• Analytical and Problem Solving Skills: ability to critically analyze and decompose complex technical requirements.
• Teamwork and Leadership: collaborative and team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills; mentor/offshore/on-site teams.
• Innovation and Creativity: ability to think innovatively and propose alternatives.
• Agile: experience thriving in Agile environments with evolving requirements.
• Self-Motivation: self-starter with strong work ethic.
• This tier includes specific domain areas, including but not limited to: Full Stack, Applications Integrations, ServiceNow, Data Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Software Design and Development: design, develop, and test software applications and features.
• Technical Leadership: own complex technical challenges and provide effective solutions.
• Code Review and Quality Assurance: conduct code reviews and enforce best practices.
• Testing: unit, integration, functional, regression, and UAT testing.
• Technical Problem-Solving: identify and solve complex problems.
• Mentorship and Collaboration: guide junior developers and share knowledge.
• Support and Troubleshooting: address production issues and trends.
• Documentation and Reporting: maintain technical docs and config docs.
• Learning and Development: understand WWT’s processes to support evolution of solutions.
• Up to 10% domestic travel required.
