Technology Resource Experts, LLC is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications. This role involves mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.

The ideal candidate holds an active TS/SCI with MD poly, a BS plus 7 years of experience, and strong Python skills, with exposure to SDLC, Agile, and Git.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with MD poly required.
• BS + 7 years experience required.
• Solid experience in Python and familiarity with one or more programming languages (Python, Java, C#, Javascript, Go).
• Strong knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile environment.
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and networking concepts.
• Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Fix defects and handle escalated tickets from Level 1 support.
• Write clean, documented code adhering to standards.
• Participate in code reviews and share knowledge across the team.
• Collaborate with product managers, QA, and stakeholders on requirements and features.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide their growth.
• Contribute to development process improvements and system architecture.
• Ensure timely resolution of issues to maintain uptime.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
