Technology Resource Experts, LLC is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications. You will handle complex tasks with minimal supervision, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable software solutions.

Requirements include a TS/SCI with polygraph (last poly within 7 years) and strong Python skills, plus experience with modern programming languages and agile methods.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph; last poly within past 7 years.
• Solid experience with Python.
• Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (Java, Python, C#, JavaScript).
• Experience with version control systems and agile development methodologies.
• Strong understanding of OO design, data structures, and algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using modern software engineering principles.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements to deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship features.
• Perform code reviews to ensure quality and share knowledge.
• Debug and resolve defects promptly and improve reliability.
• Lead design and architecture of complex systems for scalability, security, and performance.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Determine root causes of complex issues and develop long-term solutions.
• Drive technical decisions and influence product and engineering strategy.
• Evaluate new technologies and best practices; support cloud transition.
