Technology Resource Experts, LLC is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications for a mission-critical environment. You will work with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to architecture improvements while delivering scalable software solutions.

The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with MD polygraph (last polygraph within 7 years) and a BS plus 7 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with MD polygraph; last polygraph within 7 years.
• BS + 7 years experience in a relevant field.
• Solid experience in Python is required.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python, Java, C#, Javascript, Go).
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and experience in Agile environments.
• Experience with Git and version control.
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and networking concepts.
• Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complexTechnical issues.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain robust and scalable software applications.
• Analyze complex technical issues and perform in-depth troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Fix bugs and resolve software defects, including escalated tickets from Level 1 support.
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented, maintainable code that follows standards.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with product managers, QA, and stakeholders to define requirements and deliver features.
• Mentor junior engineers and support their professional growth.
• Contribute to development process and system architecture improvements.
• Ensure timely resolution of technical issues to maintain system uptime.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and troubleshooting guides.
