Technology Resource Experts, LLC is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our rapidly growing team at Fort Meade, MD. You will design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software solutions, mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.

The role requires TS/SCI with MD polygraph, 7+ years experience, and strong Python skills, along with Agile SDLC and Git expertise.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with MD polygraph required.
• Last polygraph within 7 years.
• BS + 7 years experience.
• Solid experience in Python required.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, Go.
• Strong SDLC and Agile experience.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and networking.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain robust software applications.
• Analyze complex issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Fix defects and handle escalated tickets from Level 1 support.
• Write clean, documented, maintainable code per standards.
• Conduct code reviews and share knowledge across the team.
• Collaborate with product managers, QA, and stakeholders to define requirements.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and mentor teammates.
• Contribute to process and architecture improvements.
• Ensure timely resolution to minimize downtime and maintain uptime.
• Maintain comprehensive technical docs and troubleshooting guides.
• Support transition to cloud capability.
