Technology Resource Experts, LLC is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our rapidly growing team. You will design, develop, test, and maintain software applications while handling complex tasks with minimal supervision and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

This role requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph, strong Python skills, and experience across modern languages. You will mentor junior engineers and contribute to architecture, code reviews, and process

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph required; last poly within past 7 years.
• Level 2: BS + 14 years experience.
• Level 3: BS + 20 years experience.
• Solid experience with Python.
• Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and agile development methodologies.
• Solid understanding of object‑oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient, and well‑documented code using modern software engineering principles and best practices.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Perform code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with other team members.
• Debug and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
• Work to continuously improve the development process, tools, and overall software reliability.
• Lead the design and architecture of complex software systems, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering their professional growth.
• Determine the root cause for complex software issues and develop practical, long‑term solutions.
• Drive and influence technical decisions, contributing to the overall strategic direction of the product and engineering team.
• Evaluate and make recommendations on new technologies and best practices.
• Will support the transition to cloud capability.
