Technology Resource Experts, LLC is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior engineers.

The ideal candidate holds a TS/SCI with MD polygraph, a BS with 7+ years, strong Python skills, and experience across SDLC/Agile, Git, and SQL/NoSQL. Will contribute to cloud capability transition and resilient system design.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with MD polygraph; polygraph within 7 years.
• BS degree with 7+ years of experience.
• Solid experience in Python is required.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, C#, Javascript, Go.
• Strong SDLC understanding and Agile experience.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL and networking concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable software applications.
• Analyze complex issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Fix bugs and resolve defects, including escalated tickets.
• Write clean, well-documented code following standards.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and share knowledge.
• Collaborate with product managers, QA, and stakeholders to define requirements and deliver features.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
• Contribute to improving development processes and system architecture.
• Ensure timely resolution of issues to maintain uptime.
• Maintain technical documentation and knowledge bases.
• Support the transition to cloud capability.
