Job summary

Technology Resource Experts, LLC is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications. The role emphasizes minimal supervision, cross-functional collaboration, and mentoring junior engineers, with a focus on delivering scalable solutions.

The position targets Java development using Java-based tools to enable cloud-based capabilities, and requires strong SDLC knowledge, Agile experience, and excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with MD polygraph; last poly within past 7 years.
• BS + 14 years experience.
• Proficient in Python, Java, C#, Javascript, Go.
• Solid SDLC understanding; Agile environment experience.
• Experience with Git.
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL and networking concepts.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain robust and scalable software applications.
• Analyze complex technical issues and perform in-depth troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Fix bugs and resolve software defects, including escalated Level 1 tickets.
• Write clean, well-documented code adhering to standards.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and disseminate knowledge.
• Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, and stakeholders to design solutions and deliver features.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and foster growth.
• Contribute to development processes and system architecture improvements.
• Ensure timely resolution of technical issues to maintain uptime.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and troubleshooting guides.
