Technology Resource Experts, LLC is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join their rapidly growing team in Laurel, MD. You will develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems (analytics, real-time, data-heavy) using Java and Python, with cloud solutions on AWS and automated tests.

You will work independently or in teams, review components for design adherence, and drive issue resolution while aligning with agile processes.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
• BS degree plus 7+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and enhances complex software systems with Java/Python using AWS services.
• Reviews and tests software components and documents results.
• Resolves software problem reports and collaborates with system engineers in agile environments.
• Prototypes solutions in the AWS cloud and supports automated tests at multiple levels.
• Provides input on system design, trade-offs, and reuse of COTS/GOTS in development.
