Job summary

Mimecast Limited in Lexington, MA (hybrid) or remotely in Florida is seeking an SMB Account Executive to identify opportunities, close deals, and deliver tailored solutions to SMB accounts while driving revenue growth.

You will build a strong pipeline, conduct compelling demos, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth onboarding and customer success. A hybrid work arrangement is available with salary and OTE benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in new business acquisition, especially SMB-focused SaaS.
• Clear, persuasive verbal and written communication.
• Proven success in consistently achieving sales goals.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, cybersecurity, or email management solutions.
• Strong rapport-building and negotiation abilities.
• Highly motivated, proactive and able to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
• Hybrid role based in Lexington, MA or remote in Florida.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and engage SMB prospects through cold calling, social selling, email outreach, and networking.
• Build and manage a healthy pipeline aligned to Mimecast’s growth goals.
• Deliver compelling product demos highlighting Mimecast’s value for SMB customers.
• Establish trust with decision-makers by understanding pain points and business needs.
• Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Partner with marketing, sales engineering, and customer success for seamless prospect-to-onboarding experiences.
• Maintain accurate activity, lead, and opportunity data in Salesforce.
• Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and Mimecast’s evolving product suite.
