Job summary

Mimecast North America, Inc. is seeking an SMB Account Executive to identify opportunities, close deals, and tailor solutions for SMB accounts, driving revenue growth in a fast-paced sales team.

You will own new business prospecting, build pipelines, deliver product demonstrations, and collaborate with marketing, sales engineering, and customer success to ensure smooth onboarding and success.

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in new business acquisition in SMB tech/SaaS environments.

• Solution Demonstrations: Deliver compelling product demos highlighting Mimecast's value for SMB customers.
• Relationship Building: Establish trust with decision-makers by understanding pain points and business needs.
• Quota Delivery: Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• CrossTeam Collaboration: Partner with marketing, sales engineering, and customer success for seamless prospect-to-onboarding experiences.
• CRM Management: Maintain accurate activity, lead, and opportunity data in Salesforce.
• Market Awareness: Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and Mimecast's evolving product suite.

You will play a critical role in understanding customer needs and delivering tailored solutions, in a fast-paced, innovative sales team where you can make a significant impact on our growth trajectory.

The US OTE range for this position is $112,000-$168,000 + benefits. This reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire on-target earnings for this position. This position may also be eligible for other related benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. These factors and individual capabilities will also determine the individual pay offered.
