Job summary

Vivint Smart Home is seeking a Field Service Technician/Professional to install, service, and sell advanced smart home solutions. You will be the face of Vivint, delivering on-site consultations and upgrades that enhance home security and automation.

Ideal candidates bring a sales mindset, strong customer service, and technical aptitude. A valid driver’s license is required; extensive training is provided, along with a take-home vehicle and ongoing coaching within a national team.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service-based sales is a major plus.
• Ability to act with integrity while building rapport with diverse customers.
• Experience in cable/satellite install, pest control, construction, or solar is helpful but not required.
• Requirements: A valid driver’s license and a good driving record; ability to pass background checks per applicable law.

Responsibilities

• Installing, servicing, and troubleshooting security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Consultative on-site sales to evaluate customer homes and upgrade services.
• Train homeowners on using their new system to protect families.
• Grow through coaching and leadership development within the national organization.
