Job summary

Vivint Smart Home, an NRG owned company, seeks a Field Service Technician/Professional to install smart home tech and upsell upgrades on site. You’ll be the face of Vivint, delivering quality service and customer peace of mind.

This role blends technical installation with consultative sales, requires a valid driver’s license, and offers a take-home vehicle, paid training, and performance incentives within a national team.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service-based sales is a strong advantage.
• Ability to act with integrity while building rapport and trust with diverse customers.
• Experience in cable or satellite installation, pest control, construction, or solar industries is helpful but not required.
• A valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record; pass background screening and licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Installing, servicing, and troubleshooting security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Evaluating homes to recommend equipment upgrades or service enhancements on-site.
• Training homeowners on how to use their new system to help protect their families.
• Growth: Coaching and leadership opportunities within the national organization.
