ADT is seeking a Smart Home Consultant to work with residential customers, guiding them through designing a secure home setup. You will combine hands-on installation with consultative sales, helping customers understand how security, IoT devices, and smart home products work together.

You will activate systems, educate customers on our app and features, and ensure solutions fit their needs. This role includes in-home visits, onboarding, and ongoing support in a fast-paced field environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; valid driver’s license may be required.
• Strong customer-focused communication skills.
• Technical aptitude with smart devices and IoT ecosystems.
• Ability to understand how multiple products interact within a home network.

Responsabilités

• Deliver in-home consultations and assessments.
• Recommend smart home and security solutions based on customer goals.
• Install and activate security hardware, cameras, IoT devices, and smart home products.
• Integrate new products with the customer’s existing setup.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical questions.
• Complete customer onboarding and product education.
• Build long-term customer confidence through proactive support.
• Identify upsell opportunities to strengthen home protection.
