ADT is hiring a Smart Home Consultant to guide residential customers in designing a home security setup that protects what they value most. You will blend hands-on installation with consultative sales, helping customers understand how security, IoT devices, and smart home products work together.

You will activate systems and educate customers on our app and features, ensuring each solution fits their needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer-focused communication skills.
• Technical aptitude with smart device ecosystems and home networks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-home consultations and assessments.
• Recommend smart home and security solutions based on customer goals.
• Install and activate security hardware, cameras, IoT devices, and smart home products.
• Integrate new products with the customer’s existing setup.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical questions.
• Complete customer onboarding and product education.
• Identify upsell opportunities to strengthen home protection.
