Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking a Building Automation Solutions Account Executive to drive new business in the greater Dallas–Fort Worth area. This role focuses on growing our commercial Smart Buildings Automation Controls Solutions by developing contractor, consultant, developer, and end-user relationships and by executing sophisticated deals within established guidelines.

Qualifications

8+ years of Sales Experience in building automation or a related field.

Responsibilities

Achieve new order/booking and profit goals based on your assigned quota.
Develop and maintain a qualified funnel of opportunities including forecasting expected order intake.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of the marketplace, competitor offerings, customers, and decision influencers across the region.
Identify new business opportunities to grow in new markets or adjacent segments and develop go-to-market strategies.
Act as a consultant to multiple levels of the customer’s organization to ensure building systems meet business goals.
Attend industry networking events and participate in professional organizations to build a network.
Spend a minimum of 50% of time in customer-facing activities, in person and on site.
Travel overnight ~10% for training and business development as required.
