Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Enrollment in or recent completion of a 2-year Technical College/School pursuing HVAC Controls, Building Automation, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week for 10 weeks (May–July or June–August).
• Onsite work in the Austin, TX area; no relocation or housing stipend provided.

Responsibilities

• Gain 80% field technician experience on job sites installing, programming, and servicing HVAC and building automation systems.
• Gain 10% sales exposure by engaging with the sales team and learning about customer solutions.
• Rotate through service and project operations to understand long-term maintenance and upgrades.
• Collaborate with engineering and project management to resolve discrepancies in drawings and field issues.
• Communicate with customers to document activities and provide basic training for smooth hand-off.
