Job summary

Siemens Mobility is offering a Smart Building Systems Specialist Internship in the Austin, TX area. You will work on hands-on HVAC automation projects, shadow technicians, and learn troubleshooting, installation, and commissioning in commercial buildings.

The program emphasizes field experience, customer interaction, and collaboration with engineering and project teams. Eligibility includes a high school diploma or GED and enrollment in a related technical program; work authorization is required

Qualifications

Must have a high school diploma or state-recognized GED.
Enrollment in or recent completion of a 2-year technical HVAC/building automation program or related field.
Ability to commit to 40 hours per week for a 10-week program (May–July or June–August).

Responsibilities

Spend most time on job sites with experienced technicians installing, programming, and servicing HVAC systems.
Assist in diagnosing issues and performing maintenance and repairs.
Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to resolve discrepancies in drawings.
