Job summary

Siemens Mobility in the United States is offering the Smart Building Internship Program for aspiring Building Automation Systems Specialists. This on-site internship operates in the Houston, TX area with 40-hour weeks across a 10-week period, beginning May–July or June–August 2027.

You will learn on-the-job with seasoned Siemens technicians, focusing on HVAC automation, building systems and real-world problem solving.

Qualifications

Must have a high school diploma or state-recognized GED.
Pursuing a degree in HVAC Controls, Building Automation, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related program.
Availability to work 40 hours per week for 10 weeks (May–July or June–August).
Work authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Spend most of your time on job sites with experienced Siemens technicians, learning installation, programming and service of HVAC building systems.
Shadow sales to understand how building solutions are designed for customers and enhanced performance and safety.
Rotate through service and project delivery teams to support installation, maintenance and upgrades.
