ADT Security Services is hiring a Sales Advisor to demonstrate the value of innovative security and smart business solutions for small businesses. You will visit customers, tailor systems to fit their layout and needs, and work with owners and decision-makers in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes building trust, closing deals, and expanding the customer base, with uncapped commissions and robust training support. A valid license and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willing to travel within a designated territory using your own vehicle (mileage reimbursed).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required; additional licensing may be needed based on location.
• Comfortable using technology to stay organized, efficient, and accountable in a fast-paced sales environment.
• Self-motivated and results-driven, with an entrepreneurial mindset; you thrive on uncovering new leads and closing deals that deliver real value.
• Strong communicator and natural relationship builder, able to consult with customers, understand their needs, and guide them to the right solution.
• Adaptable and flexible; you excel in dynamic environments and enjoy learning new systems and approaches.
• Consumer sales experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Listen and build trust: become a reliable advisor for small business owners throughout the sales process and beyond.
• Customize each system to fit the business layout, operations, and security needs, combining security, automation, and life-safety technology.
• Conduct post-install follow-ups with customers to confirm commitments were fulfilled and strengthen long-term relationships and referrals.
• Cultivate new business opportunities: identify and generate new small business leads within your territory to maximize outreach and growth.
