Job summary

Verizon is seeking a dynamic public sector sales professional to grow SLED accounts. You will prospect new customers, support existing clients, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to close opportunities and drive revenue growth.

You’ll guide quotes, contracts, onboarding, and customer adoption of self‑service tools while handling escalations and maintaining high service levels. The role is field‑focused and requires serious multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 1+ year of related sales experience.
• Valid driver’s license and able to pass MVR check.
• Experience hunting new business and supporting sales teams to close deals.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer interactions on accounts with or without an account manager.
• Prospect for new customers and collaborate with support/field teams to close opportunities.
• Support overall account strategy with the SLED leadership team.
• Quote, contract, and onboard new and existing customers.
• Drive self-service adoption via the Verizon Enterprise Center (VEC).
• Resolve customer problems and provide recommended solutions.
• Manage inquiries across calls, chat, and email channels.
• Coordinate with internal departments for system support (SFDC, Polaris, Proquest, VPrice, GCT).
