Job summary

Zones is seeking a Field Account Executive for SLED to cultivate strategic relationships with state, local government and education customers across the territory. This field-based, quota-carrying role requires deep knowledge of public-sector procurement, contracts, and IT solutions.

You will collaborate with inside sales, solution architects, contracts teams, OEM partners, and leadership to develop account strategies, expand Zones’ share of wallet, and win new opportunities through consultative

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technology sales experience.
• Proven track record meeting a sales quota.
• Experience selling IT products, solutions, or services.
• Strong understanding of SLED procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic account plans for assigned SLED customers.
• Build relationships with CIOs, IT directors, procurement leaders, and other decision makers.
• Identify opportunities within existing accounts and expand Zones’ share of wallet.
• Prospect for and acquire new SLED customers in the territory.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline to meet/exceed sales quotas.
• Coordinate with contracts/proposal teams on RFP/RFQ responses.
