Job summary

Zones IT Solutions seeks a Field Account Executive to drive growth across State, Local Government and Education (SLED). This field-based, quota-carrying role develops strategic customer relationships, expands existing accounts and positions Zones’ IT solutions to address public-sector needs.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of technology sales, deep SLED procurement knowledge, and a proven record selling IT products and services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technology sales experience, preferably in SLED sectors.
• Proven track record selling IT products and services.
• Strong understanding of government procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Account Management & Business Development: Develop strategic account plans for Education customers and build trusted relationships with CIOs, CTOs, IT directors, and procurement leaders.
• Identify new opportunities within existing accounts and expand Zones’ share of wallet.
• Prospect for and acquire new Education customers within the territory.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities to meet quotas.
• Conduct regular customer meetings, business reviews, technology discussions, and executive engagements.
• Develop multi-year relationships positioning Zones as a strategic technology partner.
