Job summary

Cloudera is seeking an experienced SLED Account Executive for the Central region to drive strategic growth across core public sector accounts. You will develop detailed territory plans, map business needs to Cloudera's Data & Analytics platform, and act as a trusted advisor to C-suite stakeholders.

You will own the full sales cycle, forecast accurately, and collaborate with partners to expand opportunities.

Qualifications

4-5+ years of full sales cycle, technology solutions sales, business development or equivalent experience.
Ability to operate in an entrepreneurial environment.
Sales experience with Big Data, Open Source Applications, Enterprise Application Integration, Database and/or BI software concepts.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a strategic business plan for the Central region, identifying core customers.
Demonstrate ability to excel at complex, consultative solution selling.
Serve as a strategic trusted advisor to key decision-makers across agencies and subcomponents.
Drive new business in greenfield accounts at the C-suite level or equivalent.
Ensure accurate forecasting, pipeline creation, and quarterly revenue delivery.
Coach and collaborate with partners to build capacity for Cloudera-related services and skills.
Develop sales/marketing plans and sales forecasts.
Manage time, create effective call plans, and monitor competition.
