Job summary

North American Slate, the American subsidiary of Rathscheck Schiefer, is seeking a Sales Representative to drive growth in the North American market. You will identify new customers, build partnerships with contractors and architects, and manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to close.

The role requires 3+ years outside sales experience (construction-related preferred), a Bachelor’s degree, and up to 50% travel across GA, NC, SC, VA, and TN.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
• Three years of outside sales experience, preferably construction-related.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time and manage field engagements.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new customers and build lasting partnerships.
• Meet contractors, suppliers, and architects; negotiate pricing and terms.
• Manage the full sales life cycle from prospecting to deal close.
• Provide leadership with regular sales and project reporting.
• Forecast and monitor pipeline to achieve targets.
• Manage leads, send information and samples, coordinate logistics.
• Estimate and quote costs to competitively sell slate products.
• Perform ongoing account management including negotiation and post-sale support.
