Job summary

Republic Services, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician B to repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel equipment, including chassis, refuse bodies, hydraulic/electrical systems, brakes, HVAC, and drivetrains.

The role includes on-site and road service, with ongoing training and development opportunities. You will work with a single fleet of state-of-the-art equipment, supporting drivers and delivering reliable service.

Qualifications

• Ability to diagnose multi-system issues and consistently demonstrate technical expertise.
• ASE Certifications (T1-T8) are a plus but not required.
• Commercial Driver’s License is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of vehicle components and systems and performs preventative and repair maintenance on-site and on the road.
• Identifies malfunction sources using electronic tools and completes company training programs.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.
