Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician B to repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel trucks, including chassis, refuse bodies, hydraulic and electrical systems, and HVAC components. You will perform line maintenance welding, basic tire work, and on-site or road service to keep our fleet operating safely and efficiently.

The role requires diagnosing multi-system issues, preventive maintenance, and strong mechanical skills, with opportunities for training on new technologies.

Qualifications

• Diagnostics of multi-system issues.
• Experience with gasoline and diesel repair.
• Ability to work with on-site and road-service scenarios.
• Familiarity with automotive electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose multi-system issues on heavy trucks and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Operate on-site and road service as needed to return equipment to operation.
• Utilize electronic tools to identify malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Complete required company training programs.
