Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician B to repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel equipment, including chassis components, refuse bodies, braking, HVAC, and drive systems. You will diagnose issues on-site and on the road, using electronic tools, with opportunities for training and growth.

The role emphasizes safe operation, teamwork with drivers, and working with state-of-the-art fleet technologies in a stable industry. A CDL is advantageous but not required.

Formación

• Diagnose multi-system issues with diesel and gasoline equipment.
• 3–5 years of experience or recent automotive college/technical school graduation within 3 months.
• Valid driver’s license is a plus but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventative and repair maintenance on chassis, refuse bodies, control, hydraulic and electrical systems; and air and hydraulic braking systems.
• Repair suspension, drivetrain and steering systems; heating and air conditioning.
• Safely provide road service to ensure equipment is returned to operation.
• Identify malfunction sources using electronic tools.
• Complete required company training programs.
