Job summary

Republic Services, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician B to repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel equipment, including chassis components, refuse bodies, braking and HVAC systems.

You will work on a fleet of advanced vehicles, with on-site and road service as needed, and receive training on new technologies. The role requires 3–5 years of technician experience or recent automotive schooling, a valid driver's license, and ASE certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Diagnose multi-system issues with solid technical expertise.
• Knowledge of maintenance on Class 1-8 trucks and related equipment.
• ASE certifications (T1-T8) are a plus but not required.
• CDL is a plus but not required.
• 3-5 years of experience in a technician role or graduation from an automotive college/technical school within 3 months.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of vehicle components and performs preventive and repair maintenance on-site and on the road.
• Chassis component repair and maintenance.
