Job summary

Vail Resorts is hiring for winter 2026/27 with roles including cooks, drivers, instructors, and more at mountain resorts. Join a team that offers some of the industry's highest compensation, free passes and lessons, 40% retail discounts, and Epic Service training along with wellness benefits.

Seasonal positions are open on a rolling basis and applications are accepted until December 15th or until filled. Housing is not guaranteed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college experience preferred.
• Prior guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and engage in conversation.
• Work outdoors in winter conditions.
• Valet ski/snowboard equipment and manage inventory.
• Receive, track, and transport guests’ equipment.
• Keep valet area clean and organized.
• Assist guests with questions about amenities, services, and prices.
• Return rental equipment promptly.
• Document ski tuning instructions and coordinate transport to the ski shop.
• Support with phone calls and provide information on services and prices.
• All other duties as assigned.

Responsible for creating a welcoming first impression to guests by providingtimelydelivery and retrieval of ski and snowboard equipment. Provide immediate and courteous guest service. Responsible for organizing andmaintainingthevaletareaand equipment racks. Demonstratepositiveattitude in stressful situations.

Job Specifications

• Starting Wage:$20/hr

Job Responsibilities

• Greet guests and appropriately engage in conversation
• Work outdoors in adverse winter conditions
• Valet all ski/snowboard equipment with applicable labels, put into inventory, and store in an organized fashion
• Receive, track, and transport guests’ equipment when they are done skiing/snowboarding
• Keep valet areaorganized and clean at all times
• Assistguests by answering questions promptly and courteously
• Return all rental equipment ina timelyfashion
• Document all ski tuning instructions, coordinate, and transport equipment to and from the ski shop
• Assistwith phone calls and provideaccurateinformationregardingamenities, services, and prices
• Otherduties as assigned

Job Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent -required
• Some college experience - preferred
• Prior guest service experience -preferred
• Valid, active driver's license; can pass MRV check –required, if fulfilling a driving role
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) – preferred
• Ability to work outside in adverse winter conditions -required
• Ability to lift and transport 50 pounds -required
• Must be able to work the whole season, to include scheduled weekends and holidays -required
• Adherence to Presentation Policy - required
• Demonstrates attention to detail – required

The expected pay range is$20/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
