Job summary

Vail Resorts is hiring for winter 2026/27 as a Skilled Retail Associate to deliver outstanding guest service, merchandise expertise, and inventory support in a fast-paced mountain environment.

Starting wage is $22.00–$25.20 per hour with full-time or part-time shifts; housing is not available. We offer free employee passes and ski lessons, discounts on lodging and gear, plus Epic Service training and wellness benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and lead others.
• HS Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Ability to work a flexible schedule; holidays, and weekends.
• Commitment to exceptional Customer Service.
• Ability to stand and move in an active, team-oriented environment for extended periods.
• Ability to communicate fluently through spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Outfit guests with the latest outdoor gear.
• Work together with teammates to maintain safety standards.
• Ensure pricing is accurate and current including any and all promotions.
