Vail Resorts invites you to join our winter seasonal team for 2026/27 across mountain locations. Positions include cooks, drivers, instructors and more, with a starting wage of $20.00/hr and access to free ski passes, free ski lessons, and extensive employee discounts.

Roles run as Winter Seasonal 2026/2027, with a flexible, seven-days-a-week schedule. Housing is not provided. Training and wellness programs support guest-focused service in alpine conditions.

Qualifications

• Retail or rental experience preferred.
• Passion for skiing or snowboarding.
• Strong commitment to customer service.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsabilités

• Hand out ski and snowboard boots, helmets and related rentals.
• Assist with outdoor distribution of poles when needed.
• Interact daily with guests; no back-of-house duties.
• Cross-train to support multiple store positions.

Rental Support employees are responsible for generating sales through world-class guest service through assisting customers with rental equipment.

Job Specifications:

• Starting Wage:$20.00/hr

Job Responsibilities:

• This position focuses on handing out ski and snowboard boots along with helmets.
• Occasionally there will be a need to work outside to hand out ski poles for short periods of time.
• Daily interaction with our guests should be expected. There are no positions that maintain a “back of house” style of working.
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Previous retail/rental experience preferred
• Passion for Skiing/Snowboarding
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service
• Ability to communicate fluently with co-workers and guests in accurate spoken and written English
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule; stores are open 7 days a week and hours vary depending upon location, season, and type of store
• Follow posted staffing schedule, working all assigned days and time frames. If changes need to be made ample notice must be given. Workdays will be 8 hours a day and as close to maximum allowed by state regulations for minors.
• Complete and correct uniform will be worn every day.
• All employees will be cross trained to be able to work multiple positions with in the store according to state regulations.
• Majority of assigned duties will be inside, but there are duties that will require outdoor work for limited times. In all weather conditions.
• All duties require standing/being on your feet for the majority of the workday.
• All duties require physical movement, lifting and bending.

The expected pay range is$20.00/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
