Job summary

Vail Resorts in Colorado is hiring for winter 2026/27, with roles including Cooks, Drivers, Instructors and more. Join our mountain team to build connections, enjoy ski passes and lessons, and take part in Epic Service training that supports your growth. Starting wage is $21.92–$29.22 per hour.

Housing is available, and shifts include nights and weekends. This is a winter seasonal position; applications are accepted on a rolling basis until December 15th or until filled.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills - required.
• Friendly, personable and comfortable working with people.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule; including nights and weekends - required.
• Experience with rental POS systems - preferred.
• Passion for the snowsport industry - preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fit Boots, Skis, Snowboards and/or Poles to guest satisfaction.
• Ensure guests are well-equipped for a day on the mountain.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
• Remain current on new industry products and trends while demonstrating knowledge of products.
• Demonstrate proper knowledge of company cash handling policies and procedures.
• Arrive on time, with proper, clean uniform and appearance.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Rental team is responsible for generating sales through world-class guest service by assisting customers with rental equipment providing our guests with gear and services for the ultimate outdoor experience

Job Specifications:

Starting Wage: $21.92/hr - $29.22/hr

The expected pay range is$21.92/hr - $29.22/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
